2024 Summer Season
We're opening our doors a bit early this season, kicking off the summer with an Early Season special (15% off) on the first two weeks of the season. Starting Sunday, June 16 - Saturday, June 29. Get in touch with us to book now!
Our regular Family Season runs from Sunday, June 16 - Saturday, August 17. Guests arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday. Check in is at 2pm on Sundays, and check out is Saturday at 11am.Â
Summer season concludes with four adult-only weeks starting Sunday, August 18 running until Saturday, September 13 where guests will also arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday. Learn more about the Adult-Only Elkhorn experience HERE.
All-Inclusive Rates
These rates include all lodging, meals, on-ranch activities, and MT Bed Tax. Rates are per-person, not per-cabin. Tips are not expected.Â

10% Group Discount: Applied to bookings with ten or more people and one person to manage the booking and payment for the entire group.
12% Two-Week Discount: Applied to bookings of two or more consecutive weeks.

Reservation Policy
We recommend booking up to a year in advance.Â
A 35% deposit is due in the fall.Â
60 days prior to your arrival date, the remainder of your balance is due.Â
Check in on Sunday is 2pm
Check out on Saturday is 11am
We ask all of our guests to arrive on Sundays and depart on Saturdays. We cannot accommodate short stay requests.
Our preferred method of payment is by check, as there are no additional fees. We also accept bank transfers, travelers checks, cash or credit cards. However, any credit card will incur a 3.5% processing fee.
Cancellation Policy
Please finalize any changes 90 days before your arrival date. If you cancel prior to 90 days, we will roll your deposit for two consecutive years or fully refund your deposit.Â
If you cancel between 90 and 60 days before your arrival date, deposits may be rolled for two consecutive years but will not be refunded.
60 days before your arrival date we ask for the remainder of your balance. In the event you cancel within 60 days, refunds will not be given. However, if we are able to fill your booking with a party of a similar size, your payments can be rolled over for two consecutive years.Â
The Dude Ranchers Association recommends insuring your vacation with Travel Guard (www.travelguard.com) or another travel insurance company of your choice.

Horseback Riding:Â
We have a weight limit of 250lbs for riders.Â
Children under 6 may not trail ride, but they can be led around the ranch on horseback when scheduling permits. Â
All riders must wear slip-on cowboy boots with a smooth sole (available to borrow).
We offer a variety of cowboy hats, boots, and rain slickers for guests to borrow.All hats require a stampede string (provided by ranch) if worn while riding.Â
We do not provide riding helmets. We have them available for purchase or you may bring your own.
We do not allow pregnant riders.
Under Six Childcare Options:Â
You may bring your own sitter at no charge with the understanding that they are here as a dedicated caretaker. They may not participate in guest activities but are able to stay in your cabin, unless a small cabin is available.Â
You may hire a sitter for the week through the ranch. This person will be living on the ranch during your week (limited availability each week). We try to hire babysitters by May 1st, 2024. Please let us know about any additions or cancellations before then.Â
Family members may care for and supervise young children.
Airport Transportation
We recommend renting a vehicle. However, we offer airport transportation at an additional cost.
Bozeman International Airport: $250 per trip ($500 round trip), up to 5 guests
West Yellowstone Airport: $175 per trip, up to 5 guests

The Family Experience

Lodging
Built to last, most of the log cabins on the ranch were erected by its founders in the 1930s. Though since modernized to include private bathrooms, electricity, and other comforts, their rustic charm and enduring appeal remain.
